Kreepman's News

Cause its 10PM on Tuesday night and I just uploaded my latest song, I figured I'd give you a quick run down of what I'm working on.

1) Donkey Kong Piano Medley
2) Zelda Piano Medley**
3) Basshunter Medley

So yeah, I'm packed on all these medley's!
Especially the Donkey Kong one. That's a challenge cause I have to learn the songs considering I never played any Donkey Kong game whatsoever when I was younger (except for DK64).

** = It's not your typical Zelda piano medley :3

So yeah.
I'll leave you with CRAZY BK KING GUY.

MEDLEY'S GALORE!

Special thanks to Mr. xforsakenchildx for adding me to his favorite artists list!

I feel so special now as this is the first person to ever do so! :D

No. I do not use any type of MIDI's or MP3's that are not mine.
Everything I upload is played on my piano/keyboard by my own fingers.

I've been taking piano lessons since I was 4 years old.

I learn the songs three different ways:

1) Via Ear
- I've been using this technique forever and it really works well for improving as you can chain up notes for like a combo or something and (in my opinion) its the easiest way to learn a song.

2) Via YouTube videos
- Believe it or not, YouTube has a huge assortment of videos of kids playing and tutorials on a couple songs. I only use the tutorials to learn a couple songs that I can't seem to get down and I watch the videos to get the timing down pat.

3) Via Sheet Music
- Everyone has their different opinion on sheet music. You either hate it or you love it. I personally love sheet music because not only are they giving you the correct notes, they're giving you the correct timing, octave, etc. Granted, there isn't sheet music for every single song out there, but if I can't find one, I usually learn by ear followed by videos.

4) Via Synthesia or Finale Notepad 2008
- I rarely use Synthesia and I actually only have it on my PC for my music class to visually teach kids. Finale Notepad 2008 on the other hand gives you the sheet music and the actual song itself, all in one. This is what I use sometimes but not all the times because I'm not really a huge fan of FN2008's interface.

So in conclusion, I do not use MIDI files and I actually despise MIDI files. I've worked with them in the past and I truly do hate them. Granted the time will come eventually where you'll have to look for a MIDI file and whatnot and then they become useful but for now, they're just not cool xD.

So yeah, I just wanted to clear this up for some people that have been asking me.
Thanks for reading!

More songs on their way <3

Just got Nexus and I've been releasing some (shitty) techno songs under the title [NxD].

Whatever you do, DON'T go check them out as they suck.

Also, songs that have a (Piano) or (P) before them means its a piano song.

So, in review:
[NxD] = Techno/Dance/Trance/etc.
(P)/(Piano) = Piano

Hey guys!

DKC is a brilliant game!
I never played it when I was younger (I never had a SNES) so I'm missing that nostalgia, but I played it yesterday morning on my PC (emulator, shh) and I must say, it's a very, very good game.

I still have yet to play DKC2 and DKC3 but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't suck xD!

Anyway, to celebrate this new game (introduced to me by my cousin, btw), I've recorded two short themes (30 seconds each). One is the main theme and the other is the bonus stage.

I'm working on three more DKC songs atm, and afterwards, its back to work on my Pokemon Concerto ;3

Here are the songs:
1) Donkey Kong Country Theme**
2) Donkey Kong Country Bonus Stage Theme

** = its slow because my PC has little RAM and I can't play fast or else the program skips notes :\. But it gives a nice, feel. Almost like DK's funeral D:

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy! ^_^

Hey!

I got a song approved by the NG Staff! I'm glad you can now hear it!
It's a small little piano concerto dedicated to anyone!

It's called a piano concerto for you and, uh, yeah. There's more info once you click the link!

Thanks for listening and reading! xD

I've been meaning to upload something onto Newgrounds for sometime now, but I was never really good with flash or music, so I really didn't do anything xD.

But zomg! They added an art section and I've been adding some of my art onto NG.

So yeah. Thanks to everyone who added that new section in. Totally epic!

NxD.
